"today in the bay's" daniel lee is on capitol hill this morning. she takes us inside the beltway with a look at what does that say? >>> today, the senate is going to vote on a temporary budget to fund the government through the rest of the fiscal year. within that budget is an amendment that they could pass. what that does is give the faa power to take $50 million intended for research and capital funds and move it to save these control towers. this is what we are seeing across the board with a lot of these programs being affected by the sequester. senators and also the house are giving these departments more power to decide where to implement the cuts. right now, they are across the board cuts. the senate is going to vote on this budget today
